This is our series of what really went wrong based on true life stories ,however we use pseudo names if need be. This will help you know more and to be more careful in your everyday dealings.
Often times people behind bars are forgotten and most opinion centers around the fact that they deserve what they got, but as we fondly say in AHI not all incarcerated inmates are criminals. Some are victims of circumstances, inequality, wrong association per time, mistakes and this ends up in incarceration.
For us, the question we feel should be asked is “WHAT WENT WRONG” really, even though surely some are sincerely not excusable
For instance, a young graduate who just completed his service year got a job to work as a sales rep for a company. He was so excited about his new found job but never knew it was the same job that would lead him into prison. On a Tuesday morning as he went on to make deliveries he had a brake failure and ended up hitting another private car. Really his brakes failed, the car was dented, no lives were lost, cars were still driven from the site of the accident but unfortunately he ended up being remanded in the prison as he had no funds to get the damaged vehicle repaired immediately.
